How to Play Mahjong Titans
Mahjong Titans is a single-player tile-matching puzzle. The goal is simple: remove matching open pairs until the board is clear.
The basic goal
Find two matching tiles that are both open. Remove them, then look for new pairs uncovered by the move.
A tile is open when it is not covered and at least one long side is free. If both sides are blocked, it cannot be selected yet.
How turns work
Click one open tile, then click its matching open partner. Most suit, wind and dragon tiles must match exactly.
Flowers and seasons may match within their own group depending on the layout rules used by a Mahjong solitaire game.
Beginner priorities
Remove tall stacks and long blocking rows first. A pair that frees many hidden tiles is usually better than a pair on the edge.
Use hints as a learning tool, but try to understand why the hinted pair is useful before clicking it.
FAQ
Is Mahjong Titans the same as four-player Mahjong?
No. Mahjong Titans is a solitaire matching puzzle, while Chinese and American Mahjong are four-player tile games.
What should I remove first?
Prefer pairs that uncover stacked tiles or open blocked rows, not just the first pair you see.
